NEXUS, meaning "connection point" is a dedicated set of apps and devices designed to integrate with each other, and share data across scalable apps in the small vessel marine market.

The flagship of the NEXUS suite is VORTEX

Vessel Operational Real-time Electronic eXchange

This is an offline first small commercial vessel logbook app, assisting in not only logging voyages but also managing fuel use, bunkering, safety/training drills, and can be used shore-side to aid in passage planning. Whilst designed to work on a variety of devices, including Apple/iOS or Android platforms, it does not require a permanent signal from mobile or wifi systems, allowing data to be saved in real-time and automatically sync'd to a cloud server once a signal is achieved.

Other NEXUS Suite Apps

Ready for deployment are a number of other apps including BoatSwift, a job card booking system, allowing tasking to be handled seemlessly and with complete integration to other apps.

MarineSHIELD

Marine Safety Hazard Incident Event Logging & Documentation

With more small vessel commercial operators having to have their vessels coded under Edition 3 of the Workboat Code (WB3) there is a greater need for an integrated Safety Manaement System - MarineSHIELD can take your current document library of Risk Assessments, Standard Operating Procedures and safety training documents, and inegrate them in to a single point, combined with an incident recording and investigation tool

End to End Integration

The apps are the core of NEXUS but supported by a range of devices, including ruggedised tablets, that can be configured and managed entirely by us, not even needing you to configure through your own IT infrastructure. Everything is managed here, including SIM cards, software updates, user licencing and devices themselves on a lease basis.
